Ladies and gentlemen,

I would like to invite you to the first edition of Women’s Tennis Tournament Kozerki Open 2019, organized as part of professional tournament series of the International Tennis Federation (ITF), which will be held on 29th July – 4th August at the Tennis Academy Tennis Kozerki.

The preparation of the tournament is a great distinction for us as the organizers. The prize pool is $25,000, which places this event among the most prestigious, professional female tennis tournaments in Poland, as well-known names of world-renowned tennis players will show up on our courts. We are very proud of this because we create history. This year the tournament will be held for the first time. We hope that it will enter the global calendar of important tennis events and its rank will grow from year to year.

Our Academy is a place where high-performance sport is the priority. It is here that we pay attention to versatile shaping of young players – together with improving tennis skills we focus on motor training, mental education and psychological care, as well as we provide physiologist, dietician and physiotherapist consultations. Under these circumstances it is mandatory to organize a professional event and we will probably not stop at the women’s tournament.

The tournament held in Kozerki will be an extraordinary sports event not only for the local community but also for many people who will come to us from different parts of Poland. Competitors’ struggles will be accompanied by various attractions, both for children and adults. We assume that about 1,000 people will visit us, including well-known players who will inevitably infect others with their passion for tennis. The location of Kozerki Tennis Academy is not accidental. It is situated in Grodzisk Mazowiecki commune and you can reach us within 30 minutes from Warsaw and 40 minutes from Łódź. It is also very important that local authorities of Grodzisk commune significantly support sports activities in this area – and it is also thanks to them that this tournament can take place. I wish to express my gratitude to all those involved in the organization of this event.
