POLISH OPEN ITF Tennis Tournament $ 100,000 Women – the largest international event for tennis players as part of the 4th edition of LOTOS PZT Polish Tour – National Polish Cup. The memorial of the Presidential Couple Maria and Lech Kaczyński was under the Honorary Patronage by the President of the Republic of Poland Andrzej Duda.
The Sports Director was Agnieszka Radwańska, former leader of the WTA ranking, finalist of Wimbledon 2013 and winner of the WTA Finals tournament in Singapore in 2015.
The women’s tournament prize pool addes up to $ 100,000 and the matches were played on the hard courts of the Polish Tennis Association National Training Center in Kozerki. On Sunday, July 31, the single qualifying rounds began, and the main tournament was played between August 1-7. The winner left Grodzisk Mazowiecki with a check for $ 12,280 and 100 points earned for the WTA ranking.
